450 OVERALL RESULTS

Ken Roczen proved he is still as competitive as ever as he could go out and take the lead for a lot of the second moto. Chase Sexton, who was able to go 1-1 on the day, eventually was able to run down Ken Roczen and make a pass.  Ferrandis, who was up front in the first moto, struggled in the second moto, hovering around a top-five position. A breakout ride from Ty Masterpool, 11th in the first moto, grabbed the holeshot in moto two and put up a great fight from Ken Roczen. Ty has been very impressive this year. Jett Lawrence would make his way into second by the end of the second moto, but Sexton would turn up the pace to keep the gap maintained.

Cooper Webb seemed to struggle a little bit on the day, possibly just becoming comfortable on his new team. Jason Anderson was very quick in Moto Two as well, placing another top-five ride. At the end of the day, it was all Chase Sexton continuing the Honda winning streak.

450 MOTO ONE RESULTS

Up front early was Justin Barcia, followed by Chase Sexton. Chase would make quick work of Barcia, placing himself into the lead. He would put in quick laps and create a gap on the field. Behind Chase, riders would not let teammate Jett Lawrence have it so easy. With what seems to be a target on Jett’s back, almost all of the riders are doing what it takes to get in front of him. Whether it is a boost to their confidence or trying to shake the newly crowned champion, riders made it difficult to make their way through the pack.

Chase would go on to win the moto with Ken Roczen putting in a full effort to pass Dylan Ferrandis in closing laps. Ken would come up unsuccessful and have to settle for the third position.
