• A QUICK ARLINGTON SUPERCROSS RE-CAP

Cooper Webb took advantage of a Jett Lawrence’s mistake to take his second 450 Supercross win of the season. It was also his sixth Supercross victory in Dallas. Lawrence drifted to the right over a jump and landed on a Tuff Block, actually three Tuff blocks. After Jett remounted he ran into the back of a lapper and went down again (we’ll let you guess who the lapper was) and ended the night in fourth place after leading for 18 laps.

Dylan Ferrandis (14) suffered mechanical problem in the 450 main and dropped out, but amazing didn’t lose any spots in the 450 points standings.

Austin Forkner (64) was the 250 East points leader coming into Arlington and looked like he would leave Texas with an even larger points lead, but instead suffered a brutal crash that ended his night in the medic mule. A preliminary report is that Forker broke three of the small protuberances on his spinal column,  a shoulder blade and bruised his lungs. No surgery is scheduled. It’s best to wait for Austin or Pro Circuit to make a full comment on his prognosis.

• MXA VIDEO: THE 2024 BETA 450RX TEST

• FIRST LOOK AT THE 2024 TM MOTORCYCLES (THEY AREN’T SOLD IN THE USA)

The 2024 TM full-size motocross bike line-up consists of seven models including four carbureted two-strokes and three fuel-injected four-strokes. It be should be noted that TM has no official dealers in the USA. Thus, here is no contact information or pricing available—until they find a new importer. Shared updates among the 2024 MX125, MX144, MX250, MX300, MX250FI, MX300FI and MX450FI include new ECU maps, revised fork and shock settings, new Galfer 270mm front and 245mm rear rotors, gray seat cover and rear fender and all-new graphics. All of the Italian machines are built around aluminum frames, and equipped with Brembo brakes up front and Nissin rear brakes. All the 2024 TM’s are spec’ed with 48mm Kayaba coil-spring fork and TM Racing shock.

2024 TM MX124/144 TWO-STROKE

The TM MX125 and TM MX144 two-strokes are the only 2024 models in the lineup that are kickstart-only. The MX144 has a 2mm-larger bore and 3.7mm-longer stroke than the TM MX125, which adds up to an18cc large displacement for the MX144.

2024 TM MX250/300 TWO-STROKE

TM offers both a TM MX250 and TM MX300, both are equipped with electric start and a kickstarter. The Keihin carbureted engines are offered with a with a 2.4-gallon fuel tank or optional 3.2-gallon tank.

2024 TM MX25OFI/300FI FOUR-STROKE

The MX250FI and MX 300Fi feature a dual exhaust systems,. The mid-size TM four-strokes come with five-speed transmissions and 2 gallon gas tanks. The bore and stroke are 77.0mm x 53.6mm (MX250FI) and 72mm x 72 (MX300FI). Note the gas cap on the side panel for the under-the-seat fuel tank.

2024 TM MX450 FI FOUR-STROKE

The 449cc TM MX450FI weighs 235 pounds (without fuel). The TM four-strokes have their gas tanks under the seat, with the gas cap mounted in the right side panel and the airbox up where the gas tank would normally be.
