2023 PRO MOTOCROSS POINT STANDINGS (AFTER ROUND 10 OF 11)

Following a tightly contested race at Budd’s Creek, the points gap between Justin Cooper and Hunter Lawrence remained unchanged in the 250 Class Justin and Hunter both swapped positions in the moto, with Hunter winning the second moto and the overall of the weekend. As for the 450 Class, we had a little bit of excitement this week. Chase Sexton and Jett Lawrence went at it in Moto two, where Lawrence started making uncharacteristic mistakes. He would ultimately regroup and continue with his win streak.

Aaron Plessinger made up some points this weekend with an overall finish of second place. He would do this with 4-3 scores.

As the last two motos are ahead, Jett faces pressure heading into the final round next week. The stakes are high with only the 2023 Ironman National remaining in the season. Momentum from the confidence gained from the second moto at Budd’s Creek, will Sexton once more mount a determined push for a win in the last race of the year?

Jason Anderson has put on a solid performance as the end of the season looms.

Austin Forkner ready for morning practice

The 250 Class has been quite the show this year, with riders changing position every moto. The points battle continues on into the final race of the year at the 2023 Ironman National. Hunter Lawrence won at Budd’s Creek and looks to continue with that momentum into the final race.

Max Vohland was quick in qualifying at Budd’s Creek, but unfortunately faced issues in the motos.
