“THIS WEEK IN MXA WITH JOSH MOSIMAN:” ANAHEIM 1 SUPERCROSS PREVIEW

First of all, the Anaheim 1 Supercross starts at 5:00 pm. Why? To allow East Coast viewers the opportunity to watch A1 without staying up past midnight. This is important because it affects both late arriving ticket holders at Anaheim Stadium and TV watchers around the country. Nobody wants to miss a minute of the opening round of the 2024 AMA Supercross series. The promised battles between Jett Lawrence, Eli Tomac, Cooper Webb, Jorge Prado, Malcolm Stewart, Justin Barcia, Dylan Ferrandix, Hunter Lawrence, Aaron Plessinger, Justin Cooper, Adam Cianciarulo, Jason Anderson and Ken Roczen could be the greatest battles in recent Supercross history, or they could fizzle into another Jett Lawrence holeshot and run-away.

But the Anaheim 1 track will play a big role in how the action plays out. From it’s right-hand first turn to its dragonback, to crossing the start straight five times, to the sand section, there are challenges a’plenty.
