For this First Ride video of the 2019 Yamaha YZ250 two-stroke, we take a look at a bike that is unchanged from 2018. Every year the YZ smoker has returned on the showroom floor it becomes longer in the tooth with a design that has been around since 2006. Although the bike comes into 2019 with nothing new, it is still a fun bike to ride. We only hope that Yamaha will bring something new to the table as the 250 two-stroke is again popular with the masses. This design has been falling behind with manufactures like TM, KTM, and Husqvarna as they have been throwing R&D money into their two-stroke lines.
