WATCH THE FRENCH GRAND PRIX TO FIND OUT WHY ROMAIN FEBVRE WON BUT LOST

MXGP of France at St Jean d’Angely! had very unpredictable weather and for the fans, it looked like Romain Febvre’s 3-2 was good enough for the overall victory, but it wasn’t so. The race director penalized two riders for jumping the double on waved yellow flag. This penalty dropped  moved up to the point that his 1-6 suddenly became a 1-4—just one point ahead of Febvre. Jeffrey Herlings won the second moto thanks to a last lap pass on Jorge Prado. In the end, Herlings was third overall and Prado was fourth overall. Tim Gajser moved into sole possession of the 450 points lead, 5 points ahead of Prado and 29 point in front of Romain Febvre.

In the 250 GP of France, Lucas Coenen won his second 250 GP in a row in the muddy French Grand Prix. His 1-1 day bested 250 points leader Kay de Woli’s 3-2 and current 250 World Champion Andrea Adamo’s 2-4. Kay de Wolf still has big points lead with a 52 point gap back to Simon Laengenfelder and 59 points back to Coenen
