FUN, FUN, FUN! YAMAHA BLU CRU INVITATIONAL AT GLEN HELEN RACEWAY

Yamaha Motors USA hosted a special three-day event on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, highlighted by the three-moto bLU cRU Invitational motocross race at at Glen Helen Raceway this past weekend. It was open to riders of any skill level from four-years old to sixty-years old. You had to be a Yamaha bLU cRU member and the entries were on a first-come-first serve basis.

Doug Dubach (15) meant no disrespect to Yamaha when his YZ450F roost sprayed the Yamaha banner.

Damon Bradshaw (45) enjoyed his three-day weekend hanging out with all the Yamaha riders—who came from eight different states.

Ryan Villopoto (2) is more than a little familiar with Glen Helen, he was just here a month ago to race the World Two-Stroke Championships.

Robbie Wageman (73) used the bLU cRU weekend to get in some prep for the Pala National next Saturday.

As an added benefit Yamaha also held a special bLU cRU Training Camp on Friday with hands-on coaching from bLU cRU Ambassadors Doug Dubach, Ryan Villopoto and Damon Bradshaw!

Bradshaw, Dubach and Villopoto jumped into some of the amateur classes to ride with the kids. Ryan D’arrigo (112) was upset that a big bike was on the track with him, but was thrilled when he found out later that it was Damon Bradshaw— and even more thrilled when Debbi Tamietti gave him this photo to prove to his friends that he raced with Damon Bradshaw. 

Damon Bradshaw and Doug Dubach were the factory Yamaha team back in 1991. It was Damon that Doug beat when he won the 1991 San Jose Supercross.

If you could not make it to Glen Helen, there will also be a bLU cRU Invitational at Washougal on June 21-23 and Budds Creek on July 12-14

The 4-to-6 year old kids on the PW50 podium, Noah Rodrigues & Logan Shelton, were super enthusiastic.
