450 QUALIFYING RESULTS // 2023 UNADILLA NATIONAL
On to the 450 Class, we have Jett Lawrence, who has the opportunity to wrap up the championship this weekend. With the almost 100-point lead, number 14 Dylan Ferrandis is the only one who can push the Championship one more round. Along with being able to wrap up the title this weekend, Jett also looks to continue the 16-race win streak that he has coming in. Chase Sexton, who missed a couple of rounds at the beginning of the season, has been right there but not been able to seal the deal. Is this the weekend for Chase, or will the streak continue to Budds Creek? It all starts in qualifying, we have the times for you here.
2023 UNADILLA NATIONAL // FULL COVERAGE
Dylan sits with 305 points heading into the Unadilla National, while Jett has an even 400.
Qualifying one 450 Results started as expected, with Jett Lawrence topping the leaderboard; we see he has over a second on Chase Sexton going into qualifying session two. The track was smooth but deep in the first session; as we can see, times in the 250 sessions had dropped off quite a bit. The track is very high speed early in the mornings, and we should see dramatic slow down throughout the day, just because this track is known to get blue grooved and rutted from the powerful 450s. The second session we saw Chase Sexton atop of the leaderboard, though the lap times had dropped and this would not put Chase into first of the overall times.
Overall 450 Qualifying Results
Top 36 Qualify straight to mains.
Chase Sexton is looking very fast seated atop the Qualifying Two leaderboard. Lap times have dropped; as we stated, track conditions get bad fast. Chase still sits outside Jetts at 2:09 for Qualifying session one.
Group A Qualifying One Times.
Ap with a very unlikely 17 in Qualifying one.
